Press release published regarding underaged children featured on music videos is false

FactSeeker observed a press release in a government letterhead stating that parents of children under 18 who appear in music videos which are not educational would receive a jail term of three months, and a fine of 100,000 rupees.

The alleged press release further stated that the children participating in such videos would be sent for rehabilitation.
