The incident was also reported by foreign media.

However, despite the images suggesting that a plane landed at Beirut Airport during the attack, it has been confirmed that no such landing occurred amidst the gunfire as depicted in the photos. Further investigations revealed that these images were created using artificial intelligence (AI).

The Israeli strikes last Sunday targeted locations around Beirut International Airport. This landing took place during those strikes.

International media outlets have also conducted fact-checks regarding these images.

Accordingly, FactSeeker confirms that the images circulating on social media which show a plane landing at Beirut Airport, were generated by artificial intelligence.
