Warangana Kekulawala who runs the popular Facebook page "Soora Veera Kella," really did win the lottery.

A picture of her holding the winning lottery ticket was shared online. Some people thought the photo might be fake.

 

Factseeker checked and confirmed the photo is real. On her personal Facebook profile, Warangana posted a picture and a video.

 

 

In the video, she is with the lottery sales agent, and there is a statement from the Development Lotteries Board. The video and picture show the winning numbers, and these numbers match the official results shown on TV.

 

The Development Lotteries Board also congratulated Warangana on their official Facebook page and shared her posts. Warangana won Rs. 2 million by matching 4 numbers. For this lottery, the numbers do not need to be in order.

 

Factseeker confirmed that all the evidence proves Warangana Kekulawala really won Rs. 2 million in the lottery.
