Many people have commented that this is a fake (edited) video.
Fact Seeker found out on the internet that this animal is a mammal known to eat ants and termites of the Anteater species.
In fact, to find out whether this is a made-up video or a real animal, Fact Seeker asked this from the environmentalist Mr. Samantha Gunasekara for further information.

He went on to explain that the claims that these animals are underdeveloped species similar to the Indian pangolin and that they were discovered in Sri Lanka are untrue.

He mentioned that giant anteaters with a length of about 1.8 meters (5 feet 11 inches) including the existing species’ tail can also be seen and animals with different characteristics of the species can also be seen.

Accordingly, Fact Seeker confirms that this animal is not an animal living in this country and it is a misleading video.
