Accordingly, 3,14,659 Sri Lankans have gone abroad in 2020 and 3,09,234 have left the country in 2021.
The figures for 2022 and 2023 are 12,07,758 and 14,37,607, respectively, for the number of individuals who left the country.
According to the Central Bank report, the highest number of people went abroad between 2020 and 2023.
