AI-Generated Protest Video Misleading Viewers About Israel–Iran Conflict

False
False

FactSeeker has fact-checked and confirmed that a video showing individuals carrying the Israeli flag and allegedly protesting to end the conflict between Israel and Iran was created using Artificial Intelligence.

June 20, 2025

At a time when the conflict between Israel and Iran is escalating rapidly, a video circulating widely on social media shows a large group of people carrying the Israeli flag and appearing to protest, supposedly calling for an end to the hostilities.

However, upon close inspection, signs such as distorted body parts, people disappearing in certain spots, and inconsistencies in the visuals could be observed. At one point, a flag suddenly appears in the hand of the person wearing a blue shirt, another sign of AI manipulation.

Using reverse image search tools, we found that the same video had been shared on social media in many different languages worldwide. Additionally, we came across a post on the Pakistan Defence Forum website from 2024 that confirmed the video was AI-generated.

Therefore, it can be confirmed that this video is not related to the 2025 conflict between Israel and Iran.

We also ran screenshots from the video through the Decopy AI website, and the results indicated with over 96% certainty that the visuals were created using artificial intelligence.
Accordingly, FactSeeker confirms that the video showing people carrying the Israeli flag and protesting to end the Israel and Iran conflict is AI-generated.
