A search through Google Reverse Image revealed that it was not a photo taken in Sri Lanka.

There were posts repeatedly being shared on social media about the Indian cricketer Virat Kohli, who shared a picture on social media that he along with his wife is visiting the Dust Falls in Knuckles, Sri Lanka. As this news was being rapidly shared on social media,  factseeker looked into the matter. A search through Google Reverse Image revealed that it was not a photo taken in Sri Lanka. The photo was taken by Virat Kohli and his wife in 2019 when they were on vacation in Bhutan.
