The goals and objectives of FactSeeker is to ensure the right to accurate information. It promotes a culture of fact-based good journalism in a time where fake news and mis/disinformation and yellow journalism is at its peak. FactSeeker operates to debunk fake news and misinformation and provide the public with an analytical bird’s eye view of the facts in distortion. The unit verifies news items of public interest and those that affect fundamental rights of every citizen.
