FactSeeker observed that credible news sources had reported the incident.

D. Sandaruwan, a software engineer at the Zincat organization speculated that the video could have been created using software like Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020 and mentioned that such software could be used to create similar videos.

He also noted that similar airplane visuals are commonly found in popular video games like Grand Theft Auto (GTA) V and stated that this video appears to mimic content from GTA V.

Furthermore, Mr. Sandaruwan indicated that after obtaining a Golden Membership through Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020, it is possible to merge airplane visuals with any background scene to create live simulations.

The link to the game is attached below – https://youtu.be/ybv23dd82YY

Accordingly, FactSeeker confirms that the video circulating on social media about the Azul Airlines airplane fire during a flight is a live creation and is misleading.
