It was mentioned that after the decision of the Supreme Court that a group of bureaucrats including the Rajapaksas are responsible for the economic bankruptcy, the party is in a lot of trouble and its inability to face the issues raised by the media is the reason for the said decision.

In this regard, Fact Seeker made an inquiry from the media wing of Sri Lanka Podu Jana Peramuna and they said that it is completely false news. Also, the media wing disclosed that a press conference of the Sri Lanka Podujana Peramuna will be held today (date) as well.

Meanwhile, Factseeker observed that an invitation letter was exchanged yesterday evening informing that the news conference will be held today (17) in the WhatsApp group for journalists of the Sri Lanka Podujana Peramuna.

Accordingly, Fact Seeker confirms that the news reported by Lanka news web that the temporary cancelation of the daily press conference of Sri Lanka Podujana Peramuna for about two weeks is false.
