Don’t fall for these scams.

At a time when large-scale fraud is a regular occurrence through bank ATMs, FactSeeker identified another misleading social media post.

It was a post on an X (formerly Twitter) account called “phone හොරා”” which mentioned, “Let’s put a photo of both sides of your bank card. Let’s see whose card is the most beautiful.”

A post has also been shared which mentioned how it can be done by showing both sides of the bank card. There is a huge scope for customers to get confused about this and if they exchange both sides of the card in this way, there is a higher possibility of falling for a scam. FactSeeker made an inquiry in this regard to the card center of the Commercial Bank, and they stated that they should not be caught in such fraudulent activities as the concerned party is able to access all the money available on their cards. Therefore, Fact seeker emphasizes that its readers should not fall for such fraudulent practices.
