Several photographs of twin baby elephants aid to be born in the Minneriya National Park are circulating on social media.

The photographs, however, are not of the two baby elephants in the Minneriya National Park but are of two baby elephants in the Kruger National Park in South Africa.

These photos were captured in January 2019 by the photographer “Ines Alin Widoe”.

These photos clearly show the anatomical features of the African elephant, which is physically different from the wild elephant species in Asian countries.
