Following a request from several social media users, FactSeeker investigated the authenticity of these photos. Using Google reverse image search, FactSeeker discovered that many similar images have been shared on social media, with some posts suggesting that these images were created with artificial intelligence (AI).

However, some posts have been shared under misleading captions, causing many users to believe them to be genuine, as FactSeeker observed in the comment sections of these posts. FactSeeker further examined these images using tools like aiornot.com and isitai.com, which revealed that over 90% of them were confirmed to have been generated by AI.

FactSeeker confirms that the images depicting the sand statue of “The Iron Lady’s Skill in the Sand” and the car model labeled as “A Creation by a Boy from Anuradhapura Using Clay” are AI-generated.
