When Factseeker inquired about it from the journalist Mr. Yohan Perera, he stated that there was a fake message on his Facebook account claiming to be a lottery win and it was not a message he had exchanged.
It was stated in this post with a picture of Yohan Perera that he got 1,975,000 in his bank account after investing in an investment on Facebook in just seven hours and that Sigrid Ella, a woman, helped him along the way.
When asked about this, Yohan Perera said,
“I couldn’t see Facebook for a few days. Then one day I could not access my Facebook account. Several messages came as if it was blocked. After that, some of my friends called me and said that a post like this had fallen. As soon as I saw this, I knew it was fake. I did not share such a thing. I think my Facebook account has been hacked. I am reporting it to the cyber crime branch. Also, after canceling the old account, I created a new Facebook account.” Said.
Many of these posts are seen on social media and Fact Seeker informs the readers not to get caught in these scams as they are getting people’s personal information and massive money scams.
