FactSeeker observed a video going viral on Facebook showing several people working together to help a giant whale suffering from parasites.

This video was also shared on social media accounts in foreign countries and included an audio clip on how to save the whale.
The video is here

But, upon closer inspection of the video, unnatural features of the people’s behavior were observed, and the quality of the video was reduced in some places, and some scenes depicted a higher quality compared to the camera footage. FactSeekeer worked to confirm whether this was a true video.
Accordingly, when examining certain frames taken from the video through the Google AI Detector tool, it was confirmed that more than 95% of the video in question was created using AI.

Accordingly, the audio track describing the rescue of the animal was also monitored through the Hive Moderation tool. The results showed that 63.3% of the audio track in the video was created using AI technology.

But, FactSeeker also observed several comments in the video’s comments bar from users who believed that this was a true video.

However, FactSeeker confirms this video, which shows a group of people rescuing and treating a whale, is a fake video created using AI.
