A photograph of Dhammika Bandara in Kegalle, who became famous recently for inventing an indigenous medicine to control the Coronavirus, is circulating on social media in an amusing manner.
Investigations into the photo revealed that it was the State Minister of Wildlife and Forest Conservation, C.B. Ratnayake who has been captured in the photograph but not Dhammika Bandara.
When inquired by Mr. C.B. Ratnayake about this, he said that it was a photograph taken when he received the Covid vaccine.
Accordingly, the photograph circulating as an image of Dhammika Bandara is misleading.
